Solomonic Highly Commended for Analytics Company of the Year award

Litigation data and analytics platform Solomonic has been highly commended in the “Analytics Company of the Year” category at the British Data Awards 2025

Solomonic, the leading litigation data and analytics platform, has been awarded Highly Commended in the “Analytics Company of the Year” category at the prestigious British Data Awards 2025.

Judges praised Solomonic’s “very positive delivery and impact on the legal industry.

The British Data Awards celebrate the organisations and individuals harnessing the power of data to transform industries and this year almost 450 entries were submitted. This recognition underscores the platform’s growing impact in both the legal and data ecosystems and places it alongside some of the country’s largest and most established players, including British Airways, Lloyds Banking Group, The Financial Times and PwC.

Being recognised as highly commended in a field that includes global consultancies and businesses is a powerful endorsement of our mission to transform litigation decision-making,” said Edward Bird, CEO of Solomonic. “As a data-first business, we’ve focused relentlessly on turning unstructured data into meaningful intelligence and this award and our ever growing user count shows this is resonating with the market. It is encouraging to receive this recognition from a multi-industry panel.”

Solomonic was built to address a critical gap in the legal market: the lack of robust litigation data to support decision-making. Solomonic collects, analyses and structures High Court claims data to reveal valuable intelligence on over 180,000 claims, 290,000 parties and 6,440 law firms. Over 9,000 leading professionals rely on those insights to deliver client value, inform critical decisions and reduce litigation risk for their stakeholders.

Recent developments include partnering with Kennedys IQ to embed litigation analytics to support the insurance sector, the roll out of a dedicated Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence dataset in partnership with Stewarts and, last year, the launch of the Competition Appeal Tribunal module developed with Linklaters. This year, exciting plans are already underway to advance its capabilities with generative AI and expand the dataset further, including new Court of Appeal data.

Jason Johnson, Co-Founder of Predatech and British Data Awards judge added: “With 40% more submissions received this year compared to 2024, being Highly Commended really is a major achievement. All Highly Commended organisations should feel incredibly proud because they embody the vibrancy, diversity and sheer strength of the UK’s data ecosystem.
