Market growth drives new hires for Solomonic

Market leading Litigation analytics company, Solomonic, has recruited key new roles to support the growth of the business and drive new features. The business also continues its association with Bath University, hiring a new cohort of computer science and management undergraduates.

With close to 4,000 users, and a rapidly growing client base that includes the UK’s leading litigation firms and practitioners, supporting the burgeoning userbase to advance their data and analytics skills is vital, whilst the demand for new features in the product is driving an expansion of the tech development team.

Flávia Baldotto, has joined Solomonic to head up the customer success function. Flávia is an experienced South American solicitor, having qualified and practiced in Brazil for more than 10 years. She commented: “I am thrilled to be joining at such an exciting time. Solomonic is driving real change in market knowledge and behaviour, and I can’t wait to bring new practitioners on board.”

Angus Oehlers, comes on to the team as a junior developer, having recently graduated from Bath University with a degree in Computer Science. He said, ‘’having worked for Solomonic whilst an undergraduate, joining the business now was a no brainer. It's very exciting to be working on a product that sits at the intersection of data and analytics in a very sophisticated sector, and nothing could be more ideal for developing my skills’’.

Managing Director, Edward Bird, commented: “we are delighted to welcome Flávia and Angus to the business. Our rapid growth and user adoption means we need to expand our team to support development and assist our users as they harness the power of our data to inform critical litigation decisions and activity.”

The business also welcomed four undergraduates from the University of Bath, Matthew Jones and Dominic Reay, both computer science students to work in the product development team and Rhys Noott and Lisa Tkachenko, to support marketing and customer operations. Bird noted, “we have an excellent relationship with the University of Bath and our new cohort of bright and engaged students exceeds our expectations. Their mindset challenges how we run our business and together we learn so much. I am really looking forward to their time with us.”
