Solomonic bolsters Real Estate and Trusts litigation intelligence

Solomonic enhances litigation analytics platform with expanded coverage of Property, Trusts and Probate List judicial decisions and begins comprehensive analysis of Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber).

Solomonic, leading litigation data and analytics provider, today announces a major expansion of its platform’s coverage in the real estate and private client litigation sectors. Practitioners can now access unique insights into more than a thousand judicial decisions alongside issued claims in high-value matters from the Property, Trusts and Probate List in the Chancery Division.

The list covers a wide range of complex matters, including contentious probate actions, trusts disputes, inheritance claims, variation of trusts and estate administration. The volume of claims has grown year on year, with over 2,000 new actions filed in 2024 alone, making it a vital dataset for practitioners.

At the same time, Solomonic has also expanded coverage into the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber), launching a systematic analysis of every judicial decision to deliver unique insights into judicial behaviour and outcomes. This follows Solomonic’s successful rollout of similar analytics for the Competition Appeal Tribunal last year.

Now live and accessible to Solomonic’s growing user base of nearly 10,000 disputes practitioners, including many of the UK’s leading litigators, these additions provide essential context for real estate and property litigators and complement Solomonic’s existing Technology & Construction Court (TCC) coverage. Combined, these datasets deliver a comprehensive and distinctive view of the landscape. Users are able to track relevant claims and proceedings, analyse outcome trends across courts and tribunals and understand judicial tendencies to inform strategy and client advice.

Edward Bird, Solomonic’s CEO, added, “The addition of another judicial dataset and coverage of a new tribunal marks another major step forward for our platform. Practitioners and their clients are increasingly seeking clarity in complex legal matters and our analysis is transforming how they understand and approach them.”
