Solomonic begins development of groundbreaking Court of Appeal analysis
Development of the first comprehensive analysis of civil court appeals in England and Wales well underway, unlocking the next chapter in Solomonic’s leading analytics offering.
Solomonic, the legal data pioneer, is excited to announce the commencement of a first-of-its-kind analysis focused on civil Court of Appeal decisions for England and Wales. Built with user input, the analysis will bring new clarity to the appeals landscape.
The Court of Appeal is where the most significant legal questions are revisited and addressed. Solomonic will offer the first comprehensive data driven view of civil court appeals, offering in-depth, data supported insight into decisions. It will also provide near real-time monitoring of all new appeals, ensuring practitioners stay on top of critical developments. Designed to add a new layer of analysis to case timelines, the offering will allow users to follow the next chapter in a case’s journey, beyond initial judgments, enhancing the ability to monitor and act on the cases that matter most.
With approximately 10% of civil High Court judgments appealed over the last 11 years (that Solomonic currently covers), this new insight will tell a richer, more complete story and marks a major evolution in Solomonic’s legal intelligence platform.
Edward Bird, CEO of Solomonic, commented: “With courts addressing such a wide range of critical topics, the ability to monitor and interpret these developments at scale is an essential evolution of how legal teams advise their clients. We’re adding this additional layer of insight to help practitioners not just track appeals, but to provide data-driven insights to their stakeholders.”
Solomonic expects to launch this dataset by the end of 2025. The upcoming offering will be a bespoke module that sits alongside Solomonic’s extensive analysis of commercial disputes in the High Court and Competition Appeal Tribunal. The platform is already being used by world leading businesses and law firms to stay on top of the litigation market, win more business and inform clients with robust data intelligence.
